It's that time of year once again! Graduation is right around the corner and we want to see your decorated graduation caps. Enter the NU Alumni Grad Cap contest to show off your creativity and get the chance to win a bunch of awesome Timberwolf swag!

CONTEST TIMING:

Entry Period: Tuesday, November 19, 2019, starting at 9 a.m. – Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at 5 p.m.

Voting Period: Wednesday, December 11, 2019, starting at 9 a.m. and ends on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 5 p.m.

Winner Announcement: On or near Friday, December 13, 2019 on the Northwood University Alumni & Friends social media channels.

HOW TO ENTER:

To enter, you must submit a photo of your unique Northwood University graduation cap design to alumni@northwood.edu. Your entry must contain the following:

First and last name
Major
300 character description or less of your graduation cap design
A clear photo of you and your graduation cap

Participants may enter one grad cap design. The design must your original work and must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity rights, ownership or any other legal or moral rights of any third party. Grad cap designs, photos and videos containing any content that does not support the Northwood University Code of Ethics (www.northwood.edu/about) including nudity, drugs, or alcohol, will not be considered.

VOTING:

All eligible entries will be uploaded to an album on the Northwood University Alumni & Friends Facebook page on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 9 a.m., where the Northwood University Alumni & Friends Facebook community will vote on entries. A vote consists of any Facebook reactions (“like", “love", “haha”, “wow”, “sad “ and/or “angry”). Voting runs from when the album is uploaded on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, starting at 9 a.m. and ends on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 5:00 p.m.


WINNER SELECTION:

The entrant with the most votes will be deemed as the grand prize winner. The winner will be selected and notified on Friday, December 13, 2019. Winner will be notified through their Northwood email account and will have until Monday, December 16, 2019, by 5 p.m. to respond to the email. In the event that a winner does not respond by Monday, December 16, 2019, by 5 p.m. the contest administrator will choose the next highest voted entry to win.

GRAND PRIZE:

A large, school spirited Northwood University Alumni gift basket.
