Matthew Silva is active duty with 17 years of service in the US Navy as a Master at Arms. Matthew is currently stationed in Panama City, Florida. He has received various awards and ribbons, including Army Commendation, 6 Navy and Marine corps achievement medals, 3 meritorious unit commendations, 4 good conduct medals, Afghanistan campaign, Global war on terrorism, Military Outstanding Volunteer service medal, 7 Overseas services, NATO, Expert Marksman Rifle, and Expert Marksman Pistol. Matthew is a 2023 Northwood graduate with a Bachelors in Business Management and is currently enrolled in the DeVos MBA program. Matthew is the father of 6 girls, ranging in age from 8 to 16 years old.
